This hands-on role is responsible for facilitating daily Biztown simulations, engaging students in interactive learning experiences, and ensuring all program operations run smoothly while guiding middle school students through immersive, hands-on economic and career readiness simulations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with youth, is comfortable speaking in front of large groups, and thrives in a fast-paced educational environment. This is a part-time position that requires flexibility in scheduling. Workdays and hours will vary based on school participation and simulation scheduling throughout the school year. Candidates must be available to adjust their schedules to meet program needs.

Status: Part-Time, Hourly
Hourly Wage: $15.00 - $17.00

Primary Responsibilities:

The Program Facilitator is responsible for leading and managing daily simulation experiences for up to 100 students, delivering a consistent, high-quality, and engaging learning environment throughout the school year. This role serves as the lead presenter, confidently addressing large groups and guiding students through interactive, hands-on activities that reinforce financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship concepts. The Program Facilitator coordinates daily schedules and logistics to ensure successful program delivery, troubleshoots simulation software, tablets, and other technology as needed, and assists with tracking and maintaining program inventory, including educational materials, props, and equipment. Responsibilities also include preparing, organizing, and resetting all simulation resources before and after each session while collaborating closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure every program runs smoothly and provides an exceptional experience for students.

Qualifications (required)

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with youth in educational, nonprofit, recreation, or related settings and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences. They should possess strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage large groups of students and provide exceptional customer service to teachers, volunteers, and community partners. Excellent organizational and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should also have experience providing basic technical support and troubleshooting technology issues and be willing to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate school calendars and program needs.
