We Need Your Auction Ideas

 

Know any up-and-comers in your organization who could benefit from some nonprofit and committee experience? 

The JA Dinner & Auction takes place every Fall, and is always one of our biggest and most fundraisers of the year. Never ones to rest on our laurels, we’re working to make this year’s JA event the best yet, and we’re looking for some fresh ideas. To that end, we’re forming a brand new silent auction committee to help move us forward! This is a great chance for young professionals to get more engaged with the community and explore service opportunities. 

Our vision for the committee... 

  • Open to 8-10 young professionals. 
  • Members will help brainstorm and solicit silent auction donations from businesses or other connections in the community, and each member will be asked to secure a minimum of 5 items valued at approximately $50+ each. 
  • Three meetings will take place in June, July, and August to brainstorm, strategize, and network. 
  • Members receive a discounted ticket to the event in September, will be recognized at the event, and are invited to present and network at the September JA of Lincoln Board of Directors meeting.
