Ready, set, go… a new school year is here! Our fabulous educators have already reported back to their classrooms and are prepping for students to join them next week.

We’d like to invite YOU to make plans to go back to school this year as well! Going back to school as a JA of Lincoln classroom volunteer is all the fun you remember, with none of the final exams. You commit to only 5 hours in the classroom (you pick the schedule and school that work for you), and we provide all the rest. Thanks to our new Interactive Learning Model (make sure to check out the blog for more details!), volunteer prep is simpler and quicker than ever before.

Here at JA, it is always our goal to ensure that every teacher who requests the Junior Achievement experience in their classroom has their wishes granted– and there are a lot! Currently, there are 1,035 classrooms registered for the 22-23 school year, and each of them needs a caring volunteer to deliver the JA curriculum and share their real-world experience. Will you help!

So even if your last “first day of school” was years ago, we hope you’ll view this new year as an opportunity for a fresh start. What better time to commit to being a more active part of your community? If you find yourself wishing you could go back to school too, we invite you to do just that as a JA volunteer! Get in the classroom, make a difference, and witness first-hand just what a bright future is ahead of us in our students.
