It’s official-- JA of Lincoln is hosting the largest JA Stock Market Challenge in the nation!
On Tuesday, April 20, nearly 700 students representing 31 high schools from across the state will compete in the JA Stock Market Challenge Presented by CFA Society Nebraska. While we’d love to be hosting the event in person, the virtual format is allowing more students than ever before to participate. We think that’s a pretty great silver lining!
In addition to the ability to call themselves the smartest student investors in the state, each student in the two teams with the highest portfolio at the end of the competition will be receiving $500 scholarships to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition, the top three teams will be eligible to compete in the National JA Stock Market Challenge Competition in May.
It’s going to be a great event, and we’d love to have you join us as a virtual observer! If you’re interested in being part of this great day, contact Kim at kpramberg@jalincoln.org. The event will run from 8:30-11:00AM on April 20.
THANK YOU to all the sponsors that are partnering with Junior Achievement to make this event possible for Nebraska students!
