Spread the Word About JA Scholarships

At JA of Lincoln, everything we do is about equipping young people with the tools they need to succeed. From kindergarten through high school, we work with community partners to give them the financial literacy and skills to navigate a changing economy. When they then take their next steps to college and beyond, we’re always looking for ways to continue to support them.

To that end, every year JA of Lincoln awards $500-$1,000 scholarships to JA alumni who are getting ready for college. To quality, a student must be a senior in high school graduating in the top half of his or her class, and have participated in a JA program. We’re looking for those students who have demonstrated academic excellence, extracurricular involvement, and service to their community– in short, the whole package! The award is to help with direct education expenses, such as tuition, books, and room and board at any accredited post-secondary educational institution, including trade school and community college, for any field of study.

This year, we’re also excited to be able to provide several additional scholarships exclusively for LPS students who take the Business Department’s Business Economics class with JA of Lincoln. We have two $500 scholarships and up to five $250 scholarships to give away for our students to invest in their future education, and we can’t wait to hear from our best and brightest!

Do you know a student who deserves this kind of support? Then help us spread the word and make sure they know about this opportunity! Scholarships must be postmarked by March 9th.
