Teachers, we’re looking for you!

Before you head off into the most well-deserved summer break ever, we hope you’ll take a moment to think about inviting Junior Achievement into your classroom next school year.

Why should you include the JA experience in your classroom? Each year, more than 900 trained local volunteers serve as mentors to deliver our programs and help students make connections with the real world. Junior Achievement’s messages of financial literacy, money management, entrepreneurship, and business ethics come alive for more than 30,000 K-12 students in our public and parochial schools. Your volunteer will come prepared with age-appropriate lesson plans, innovative curriculum, and motivational insight to help your students understand how they can use their education to achieve future success, using their personal experiences to enhance the program delivery. JA programs are aligned with state curriculum, provided at no cost to the school, and require a minimal time commitment - just five 30 or 45-minute sessions on five days of your choosing.

We are hopeful that JA Volunteers will be allowed back into the classrooms next fall, but will be ready to transition to the all-virtual model we’ve used this year if necessary.
