Hitting the Lanes Again!

The JA of Lincoln Annual Bowl-a-thon looks different this year, but we’re so grateful to everyone who has already helped make it a success! If you weren’t part of round one of this year’s event, there’s still a chance to be part of round two!

We had a small but successful JA Bowl-A-Thon on February 19 and 20 at Parkway Lanes. 40 teams came out to bowl and raised nearly $9,000 for JA!

We’re hitting the lanes again on April 17 at Parkway Lanes and Hollywood Bowl, and we would love to have you join us! Before the event, each person raises $45 in pledges for Junior Achievement. There's a $5 registration fee, and an option to buy t-shirts for an additional $5-10. JA provides tips for fundraising, creative ideas to ask people for $$, and you can even make an online fundraising page that allows you to send out email requests, post on your social media, and hit your fundraising goals!

For the day of the event, teams will choose their shift (10AM, 12:30PM, 3PM, 5:30PM, or 8PM). Currently, our alleys are limited to 50% capacity and we set up teams on every other lane. Masks are required, except when eating or drinking, and there’s still plenty of games, prizes, and fun!

We hope that you’ll consider joining us for this fun event, which is normally our largest fundraiser of the year. While we realize that almost nothing has been normal over the past year, we’re so grateful to the companies and individuals who have continued to support our events and programs. We’re continuing to make an impact because of you!

Thank you to the sponsors who have made the 2021 bowl-a-thon possible:
