When and where did you experience Junior Achievement programs?

When my 2 oldest daughters were in high-school they both participated in the original after school company program all 4 years. In both cases, they were officers in their respective companies and ultimately chose their college education and career paths based on their JA experience.  One is an HR Manager and the other is a Marketing and Communication Manager.

I served on the board for many years, as board chair for 2 years and currently am chair of the JA Trustee Board.

Best of all, I get to teach 3rd graders about “Our City”, the JA curriculum that talks about how a city operates.

How did Junior Achievement have a positive impact on your life?

JA was one way I could stay connected to young people who are our future.

What is your favorite Junior Achievement memory?

While I am generally comfortable in any public setting with almost any group, I still get sweaty palms when I am getting ready to present to 3rd graders.

Why did you choose to get involved with Junior Achievement?

As an entrepreneur, I support any effort that helps students (or adults for that matter) of all ages understand how our economy works.

YOU can be a JA champion and change students' lives today!
