When and where did you experience Junior Achievement programs?
Student at Lincoln Northeast, was on the Minnegasco team (1982-1985). After that I've been participating with JA Bowl-A-Thon for the past 14 years.
How did Junior Achievement have a positive impact on your life?
It taught me the basics about running a business, and making & selling a product.
If you are a Junior Achievement alum, do you remember your Junior Achievement volunteer? Tell us about him/her. If you were engaged with JA in another way, tells us about your experience.
I remember it was employee at Minnegasco, and our team consisted of many high schoolers from around the city & neighboring towns.
What is your favorite Junior Achievement memory?
I have great memories from each of the 14 JA Bowl-a-thons that I've participated in, the 6 JA Golf outings, the 2 JA Husker Tailgates
Why did you choose to get involved with Junior Achievement?
I was interested in business, and I did hear about scholarship opportunities...I did receive a $500 scholarship in 1985.
