If you’re a young professional in Lincoln looking for a way to form deeper connections in your community and make an impact, you’ve come to the right place!

The JA of Lincoln Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a great way to network with a wide array of other local young professionals while you make a real difference for Lincoln’s students. Perhaps now more than ever, young people need the JA message of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and business ethics, and we want you to be part of giving them the tools they need to succeed!

Right now, the JA Young Professional Board is accepting applications to join the Board. So what does it look like to be part of the YPB? Members attend six board meetings throughout the year, where they’ll enjoy special professional development presentations from JA Board members. You’ll also teach at least two JA classrooms-- but most members want to teach many more! The YPB helps plan and execute fundraisers and events throughout the year, including the JA Tailgate Dinner & Auction, the Stock Market Challenge, and the Bowl-a-thon. The YPB also puts on the annual JA Trivia Night to raise revenue and awareness for JA of Lincoln! It’s a fun, active board with lots of social opportunities built in.
