K-12 Essay Contest

 

What better way to celebrate our past than to imagine our future? We want to hear from Lincoln students about what they envision Lincoln will look like 50 years from now. This essay contest can be done as a class assignment or sent home for students to complete on their own.

 

For 50 years, Junior Achievement has inspired and prepared our young people to succeed in a global economy. Annually, we reach 117 schools and nearly 31,000 students to prepare them for a brighter future!

One winner in each age range will be selected. Each winner will:

• Receive a $100 cash prize
• Have their essays posted on social media
• Be recognized at a JA Event in 2021

Essay Topics:

ELEMENTARY (K-5)   What will Lincoln be like in fifty years?   (MAXIMUM 250 words)       MIDDLE (6-8)   What can the Lincoln business community learn from middle schoolers today?   (MAXIMUM 250 words)   HIGH (9-12)   Why is Lincoln the best community to build and grow a business?   (MAXIMUM 500 words)

Submission Details:     1.  Choose the grade level and corresponding essay topic from above.
